I bought Photoshop Elements and cannot figure out how to layer. I even bought a textbook, but the DVD was missing. I know it's not that complicated but I sure can't figure it out. If anyone has any tips I'd appreciate it.

Time Out

I took time out for a while from my frenetic pace of writing, so that I had more time to simply create art. I am now really excited about sharing what I am doing, and have found new ways to do that.

One of those ways is a program called JING. I will now be able to share, easily, how I manipulate images on Photoshop Elements. It seemed impossible before, because I couldn't be creative AND write down what I was doing at the same time. Then, when I went to try and re-create my steps, I really had trouble remembering what I did.

Have to go . . . and try this out. Why don't you do the same, and we'll compare notes!

INCREDIBLE CLASSES!

If anyone would like to have an online class on CPQ, let me know! I can tell you how to set it up, including how to set up a paypal account. You will need to write your curriculum

I have some classes in the works and would appreciate feedback if you are interested:

1- -Make a CPQ from start to finish
2- -Create a CPQ art book
3- -Create a CPQ sister angel

Send me a message!

Everything and Nothing

There is an exquisite timing in creating art, like when you realize you must stop and allow those beautiful brushstrokes and textures to set in order to preserve them, even though your hands long to keep painting. Even though you will be adding another layer, or another ten layers,
later. The discipline of that is breathtaking, and empowering. You are
able to hear the art tell you what it needs, and act in accordance with
that. To listen.

Or when you find the energy

Provocative Paste Papers

Making paste papers brings back memories of finger painting with the abandon of a child. However, as you will see from some of the examples, paste papers can plump up your paper stash in a beautifully sophisticated manner.

Rhonda Miller has a tutorial for making paper paste on My Handbound Books. Her… Continue
